The story
A little history
Khao Hua Jook Pagoda was constructed relatively recently, its founding dating back a few decades, so it does not share the long history of many ancient Thai temples. It was built as a place of worship and meditation that also showcases the beauty of Thai religious architecture. Over the years it has grown into an integral part of Koh Samui's spiritual landscape, with its golden spire visible from Chaweng below and a small pathway leading to a viewpoint over Chaweng Lake.

- Look for the hidden pathway on the left of the pagoda that leads to a small viewpoint over Chaweng Lake.

- From Chaweng it's a walkable climb, though a scooter or taxi makes it easier.
